This fall we rescued this gorgeous guy who somehow had been abandoned and was lurking around our street all summer. How it is that such a beautiful and friendly creature could be abandoned is completely perplexing to me. Fortunately for him, of all the streets in the city somehow he ended up on ours and being that we are "crazy cat people" we simply couldn't see him homeless as the cooler weather set in. Transitioning him into an indoor cat that already had two full-grown male residents was tricky, but really not that difficult. He's still a little apprehensive around the others but little by little he's learning to trust us, and them, and becoming a happy member of the household. He's definitely one of the bright spots for us in 2011.
