The Bloor Yorkville Icefest 2012 was packed with people on Sunday afternoon so it was tricky to get good shots of the sculptures without people blocking them.
I found standing further away from the crowd and using my telephoto lens was less stressful than trying to get in there and jostle with the crowd for position.
This delicate public art form is so beautiful it’s too bad it’s also so fleeting.
